Serge Sur

Agrégé des Facultés de Droit (Public Law, 1976). Since 1989, he is Professor of International Law and of International Relations at the Panthéon-Assas University). He has created in 1999 and is director of the "Centre Thucydide – Analyse et recherche en relations internationales", in the same University.

He is currently (since 2009) ad hoc Judge at the International Court of Justice, The Hague. He is founder and director of the yearly Annuaire Français de Relations Internationales (French Yearbook of International Relations), first issue 2000. He is also editor of Questions internationales (first issue en May 2003, six issues a year), published by La Documentation française. He has written extensively on public international law and on international relations.
