Paul Amselek has been emeritus professor at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University since October 2001. He taught public law and philosophy of law there for more than 20 years. His research themes are ontology, hermeneutics and epistemology of law, administrative, budgetary and public accounts law. His book Cheminements philosophiques dans le monde du droit et des règles en général (Paris, Armand Colin, 2012) received an award from the Académie des sciences morales et politiques and won the Dupin Aîné prize.
