Emmanuel Decaux

Emmanuel Decaux is graduate of the Institute for political studies of Paris (Sciences Po), Doctor of Law and agrégé of public law. He is professor and director of the Center for research on human rights and humanitarian law (CRDH) of Panthéon-Assas University (www.crdh.fr). He is president of the UN Committee on Enforced Disappearances since 2011.

He published recently an handbook on Droit international public (7th ed., Dalloz, Paris, 2010) and a course for The Hague Academy on Les formes contemporaines de l’esclavage (Brill, 2009).
